The Single Tie Cribber is ideal for transit use since it quickly and safely removes ballast away from electric track. In addition, the Single Tie Cribber is perfect for punching ballast holes before the manual application of rail anchors.

Improved productivity and safety

The Single Tie Cribber replaces manual ballast removal processes using crews with spike mauls, allowing for much higher productivity from a single machine operator. Operators can easily switch direction on the track by simply lifting and moving this lightweight cribber into a different position.

Note that the cribbing speed will be dependent on the capabilities of the host machine's hydraulic system.

Adaptable to different equipment

The Single Cribber can be adapted to any type of rail equipment that uses a hydraulic system. Normally, machines with higher operator cabs (providing high sightlines), such as tie cranes or excavators, are ideal for use with the Single Cribber.

In addition, the Single Tie Cribber is highly customizable based on customer specifications. The claw attachments, top-pin assemblies, and hydraulic hose fittings can all be specified by the customer.

Adjust for different rail weights

Make simple shim adjustments to set the Single Tie Cribber for different rail weights, between 100 and 136 lbs.
