The Anchor Adjuster (AA2R) is a dual-purpose anchor machine — so there is no need to buy both an anchor spreader and an anchor squeezer for your tie gang. Simply swap the workhead tools to switch between spreading and squeezing functions. Use the auto-cycle mode to automatically spread anchors at a pre-determined height or switch to manual mode to precisely lower the workhead to the desired height.
The Anchor Applicator (AAF) simultaneously boxes ties and applies two anchors on up to 600 ties per hour, allowing the operator to work rapidly, so newly-placed heated rail doesn’t get a chance to cool — eliminating expensive reheating time. The Anchor Applicator handles most common anchor types, including Fair, Channeloc, Woodings, Unit, and Traktite.
The Anchor Remover (AK67) includes dual workheads with a pusher/scraper assembly over each rail. Optional workhead tools — rail manipulator and insulator stomper — are available for concrete sleepers. The Anchor Remover has robust pushing and scraping forces to ensure that anchors are removed smoothly and cleanly, including 12,250 foot-pounds of pushing force and 5000 foot-pounds of scraping force.
The Bulk Automatic Anchor Machine (BAAM) includes an operator-controlled anchor feed system that moves anchors directly from the trays into the anchor holders. The holders then flip down, box the tie, and position the anchors on the rail base in one smooth operation. Both anchors are then fully snapped onto the rail. In addition, the integrated bulk anchor bin holds enough anchors to last for a full day’s work.
