Small footprint lowers transportation costs

The Small Screw Spiker is ideal for contractors and short-line railroads who need to quickly move equipment to different locations. The compact size and low weight reduce transportation costs and make it easier to load and unload as well.

High production levels

Use the dual-workhead mode to efficiently operate both the inside and outside workheads simultaneously. In addition, four workheads allow you to rapidly screw in all four lag screws at the same time.

Control spike feed manually or automatically

Operators control how spikes feed into the driving guns - selecting between manual load or auto-load options. In addition, the hydraulic- driven high-impact hammers provide fast, yet extremely effective, spike-driving action.

Quickly adjust to different working conditions

Make a simple turnbuckle adjustment to adapt the gun spacing for different hole patterns. Or quickly add or remove clips to set the workhead to handle different rail heights. A manual override option increases the spike driving time to handle extremely hard ties.

Secure tie plates during spiking

The tie nipper assembly grasps and pulls the ties up and closer to the rail during the spiking process, allowing the tie plate to be as firmly attached to the tie as possible.
