The TPX is an advanced tie replacement machine featuring a unique TPX Mode for automated plate handling and a versatile Tie Only Mode for increased operational flexibility.
- Single-operator climate-controlled fully enclosed cab
- CANbus control system allows operators to easily establish all their critical operational settings from an intuitive tablet display (combined monitor and keyboard). Mechanics use the same CANBUS-controlled tablet display to quickly diagnose any equipment problems.
- Tie only mode capability for increased versatility near switches, crossings, and certain operating conditions
- Automated plate handling system that mechanically secures the plate to the rail during tie exchange
- Dual electrical CANBUS Joystick controls
- Pivoting tie exchanger workhead 10 degrees forward and reverse of tie to be worked with auto centering

- Adjustable gripper force to prevent damage to new ties or disintegration of old ties during removal
