History of Nordco
Nordco is a prominent manufacturer of railroad maintenance equipment and tools, founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The company has deep roots in the railroad industry, originally established in 1926 to provide specialized equipment for track maintenance and repair. Over the decades, Nordco developed innovative solutions for rail grinding, tie replacement, ballast cleaning, and other critical railroad infrastructure maintenance tasks. Nordco has since been acquired by Wabtec Corporation, a global leader in transportation technology, which further expanded its capabilities and market reach.
