CX Hammer – Production Spiker
The CX Hammer has become the industry standard for spike driving machines. It is fast and powerful, able to simultaneously drive up to two spikes per rail, a total of four per tie. The large-capacity spike tray holds up to 60 spikes each. The hydraulically operated spotting system allows fast alignment of the guns with the tie plate holes. The power pattern adjustment allows for quick changes to the spiking pattern to accommodate changes in plates or spike pattern standards. The two-operator machine can incorporate a third person for spike loading.
